Submission GuidelineContestants must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. Parents/guardians must provide accurate information about the child and submit the required profile details, photographs and/or videos. Only eligible contestants whose registration has been successfully verified will participate. Each contestant will be assigned to the appropriate age category: Newborn/Infant (NI), Toddler/Preschool (TP), or School Age (SA). Contestants must comply with the contest rules throughout all stages.
Parent/guardian must complete the contestant's registration.
Valid parent/guardian contact information.
Child's full name and date of birth.
Recent, clear photograph of the child.
Required contestant profile information.
Required photo/video submission as specified by KidMonth.
Parent/guardian consent to the child's participation and use of submitted content for contest promotion.
All information submitted must be accurate and truthful.
A contestant may only participate in one age category.
Submission DeadlineAll entries must be submitted by November 3, 2026 at 8:59 AM.
PrizesOver ₦3 Million Worth of Prizes, including ₦500,000 for 1st place, ₦200,000 for 2nd place, and ₦100,000 for 3rd place in each of the three categories, a ₦250,000 Overall Winner prize, stage rewards, platform performance prizes, and ₦100,000 in prizes for the top three contestant affiliates. Contestants can also receive 50% Prize-Back on eligible votes, earn affiliate commissions and bonuses, and earn Voting Credits through Givaah.
Terms & ConditionsParticipation is subject to the KidMonth Kid of the Year 2026 Contest Terms & Conditions. KidMonth reserves the right to verify contestant information, reject incomplete or fraudulent submissions, disqualify contestants who violate the contest rules, and make reasonable changes to the contest schedule where necessary. Voting, Prize-Back Voting, Voting Credits, Givaah activities and affiliate activities are subject to their respective rules and eligibility requirements. Prize-Back is separate from the advertised ₦3,000,000 core prize pool. Eligible contestants receive 50% Prize-Back on qualifying votes in accordance with the applicable Prize-Back rules. Contest results are determined according to the published voting and contest rules. All prizes are subject to verification and applicable eligibility requirements. Parent/guardian acceptance of the contest rules constitutes consent for the child to participate.

Final Ranking: The Top 3 contestants in each category at the end of Stage 4 proceed to the Final Ranking Period, where they compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Final positions are revealed at the Grand Finale.
